The Sothea offers four categories of studios and suites. Each of these Siem Reap accommodations is looked after by a personal butler who facilitates everything for the guests - from express arrival at the airport, in-suite check-in and check-out, to tours around the Angkor Archaeological Park.
Each of The Sothea's Deluxe Suites measure 48 square meters in size. Based on a studio concept, each offers combined lounge and bedroom space and a balcony, which for ground floor suites, is out-cropped on one of the resort’s notable architectural design features – an individual two-by-two square meter rain-catch pool. Each studio is well-designed in natural colors of wood and white. The furniture within is finely handcrafted and the duvets and sheets are of the highest quality. The bath area has a semi-open bath concept, providing not just an air of romance but also comfort and relaxation for guests. LCD televisions and DVD players are provided in each suite. Non-alcoholic drinks at the in-suite bar are free, as well as four pieces of laundry everyday. WiFi is easily accessible and is complimentary.
Each Royal Deluxe Suite is a studio, albeit larger than the Deluxe Suites given the addition of a semi-outdoor bath area equipped with a traditional bathing jar and dipper and a modern rain shower. This area is from the in-suite bath, which offers a claw-foot tub, rain and handheld shower cubicle, as well as a WC. All in all, this suite measures 65 square meters and is either twin or king bedded. Within, the design is the same comfortable chic that one views in a Deluxe Suite. The whole floor is divided into a cozy lounge, bed, and bath area with the vanity and wash basin conveniently tucked within the main room rather than in the bath area.
The Queen Suites are large rooms ideal for romantic honeymoon getaways with lace-shrouded king-size bed and large glass bay windows with a beautiful view of the swimming pool. Measuring 90 square meters, any of the two Queen Suites possess an interconnecting "day room" and a spacious bedroom with a lounge area. The "’day room’’ is ideal for private dinners for two organized by the personal butler. Residents housed in these suites will enjoy a complimentary well-stocked minibar, laundry, and private ‘’tuk-tuk" (a local motorized rickshaw) for outings to and from the city center.
The largest suites in the house are Spa Suites, referred to as King Suites. Each measures between 110 to 140 meters. Inspired by the traditional Khmer villas, each King Suite has a private garden or an extensive balcony with an outdoor sitting area, private library which can be transformed into a venue for cocktails with friends or a dinner area for a family, and a large bedroom area with an intimate spa space equipped with a whirlpool Jacuzzi for two and massage beds. The minibar is full stocked. Wi-fi is readily usable and a massage or a treatment bath is arranged for free for every two-night stay.
