Opened in 1900 for the World’s Fair, the Hotel Regina was established by Léonard Tauber. Built on the historically rich site of the Louvre Palace royal stables, today the Hotel Regina is operated by Baverez’s great granddaughter, Veronique Beauvis Valcke.
This luxury Parisian hotel is an exquisite example of classic Art Nouveau architecture, which it showcases in a blend of its rue de Rivoli style arcades, the sober façade of its balconies, and the Empire-style roof.
The Hotel Regina’s grand lobby and some suites have been featured in the following films: Cheri (2009), Les Femmes de L’ombre (2008), The Bourne Identity (2002), Kiss of the Dragon (2001), and Nikita (1990).
