Historic Hotel
Originally built in 1883 and lovingly restored, the Historic Hotel features clapboard siding and classic architecture. There are 137 elegant guestrooms, including 54 suites, with updated furnishings, high-speed Internet access, and a choice of garden or lake views. The Historic Hotel rooms and suites are ideal for vacationing couples or anyone desiring a traditional hotel experience. Many of the resort's restaurants and the spa are located within the hotel.
Rooms and one-bedroom parlor suites are richly appointed in club-style ambiance combined with original art and decorative accessories. Marble baths with pedestal sinks pamper every guest. Governor's rooms and one or two-bedroom suites offer panoramic views of Lake George. The Lodges
Rooms and suites are located on the walk-in and lower levels of The Lodges. The Lodge buildings encircle the island and are a short walk or shuttle ride to the hotel. Walk-in lodge rooms offer double or king-size bedded accommodations with a view of the parking lot. Lower level lodge king-size bedded rooms are value accommodations located at the bottom of a set of stairs and face an inland, landscaped embankment. Suites offer a private balcony with lake views, living area with gas fireplace, dining alcove, and spacious bath with separate tub and walk-in shower.
Signature rooms and suites are an updated Adirondack retreat. The suite features a marble wet bar with an under-the-counter refrigerator and microwave, dining alcove, gas fireplace, 42-inch plasma screen television, and private balcony.
