Hotel History
The upscale 121 room Ko`a Kea Hotel & Resort completed a multi-million dollar reconstruction on April 14, 2009, to all guestrooms and public spaces including a lounge; a new restaurant, Red Salt; and an intimate spa facility, The Spa at Ko`a Kea. The hotel is the last remaining resort to be re-opened in Poipu after Hurricane Iniki in 1992, utilizing the original footprint of the former Poipu Beach Hotel and offering guests unmatched proximity to the ocean.
