Hawk walks are an unforgettable way to experience the local wildlife. During the walk, guests learn how to handle and fly one of the Dromoland School of Falconry’s Harris Hawks. Enjoy a hawk landing right on your gloved arm, all with the aid of a dedicated instructor.
For leisurely strolls, there are many walking trails and paths at this luxury Irish castle hotel. Local wildlife includes native red deer, pheasant, and partridge.
Other outdoor activities include clay shooting, archery (for parties of three or more), horseback riding, and fishing. Fishing is available both from the banks of the lake, or from one of the estate’s boats.
Athletes will find access to the two tennis courts, as well as racquets and balls. Mountain bikes are also available complimentary for exploring. Additional bikes can be arranged at the cost of €35/US$46 per bike.
