Hotel History
Tupper Manor at the Wylie Inn and Conference Center was designed by Guy Lowell, renowned architect of Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, in 1901 as the summer home of the Bryce Allan family, a Canadian family known for gracious hospitality and carefully orchestrated, sophisticated entertaining. Endicott College purchased the building from the Allan estate in 1943 and named it after the Tupper family, the founders of the college.
