Q. Do I get points for my stay? (or can you credit my profile with points from a previous stay?)
A. I Prefer does not offer any points or retail rewards. Your Membership entitles you to the following benefits at over 500 participating Preferred Hotel Group hotels and resorts around the world:

  • complimentary Internet access
  • priority early check-in and late check-out
  • room upgrade (based on availability)
  • welcome amenity
  • exclusive offers received via email

In addition, we are pleased to award Frequent Flyer miles to our guests when they stay at a participating Preferred Hotel Group hotel or resort throughout the world. You can earn 500 -1500 miles per qualified stay with extra credit during our Double Miles promotions. Q. I've forgotten my I Prefer password.
A. You can request your password at IPrefer.com by clicking on the 'Log In' button

Q. I'd rather make my booking over the phone. Who do I call for assistance?
A. We are happy to offer reservation or member services assistance at 877 497 6976 (calls within the US) or +1 817 567 9633 (calls outside the US). You can also email us at IPrefer@preferredhotelgroup.com for assistance.

Q. Will I get my benefits if I make my reservation directly with the hotel on their website or by phone?
A. No. Only bookings made at IPrefer.com or the brand website (Preferredhotels.com, Preferredboutique.com, Summithotels.com, Sterlinghotels.com or Sterlingdesignhotels.com), through our call center, or through a travel agent using Preferred Hotel Group booking channels are eligible for I Prefer rewards. You should provide your I Prefer member number when making a reservation to ensure you receive your benefits.

Q. I enrolled online, have not received a card (or I have lost my I Prefer card)
A. We no longer issue member cards. It is not necessary for you to produce a card when checking in at our hotels as they are able to identify you by name or email address in the I Prefer database.

Q. I have an old card that has expired. Will you send me a new one?
A. the expiration date for all Member Cards has been extended indefinitely. Our hotels will accept all cards, regardless of expiry date. If you do not carry your card with you, they are still able to identify you by name or email address in the I Prefer database.
